She Has No Name
The 6ix Thirties
A wise friend of mine, once told me to brace myself for my thirties. He wasn’t trying to alarm me but rather, prepare me. He went on to explain that in our society, our thirties are the decade of our life with the most amount of happy “first” milestones. These usually include things like, our first real career job, our first marriages, maybe our first babies, buying our first homes & plenty of other monumental “firsts”.
But, a significant part of navigating these milestones is the ability to wear many different hats in your 30's- literally & figuratively. In the mornings, as I walk Chico down Queen Street East, I can’t help but notice other women in their 30’s, with their large totes.
Often, we pack these totes the night before and they include a minimum of three outfit changes in hopes of tackling on another busy day, ahead.
1. Workout
2. Day/Work Attire
3. Dinner/Drinks
4. Jammies…depending on how good of a night it was, of course ;)
The 6ix Thirty strives to be a cheeky hub where we can come together in hopes of navigating this wonderful yet, often overwhelming decade of our lives together, in Toronto.
